| Paregal, I am the Piano Technician responsible for Eastbourne College. Numbering some 30 pianos and after recommending you to re polish the Danemann 9 ft. for the Underground Theatre I had no hesitation in doing so again for the Colleges Steinway D. With money in hand I called at Paregal Pianos intent on buying a popular named Japanese piano. Having spoken with Paul and played many instruments there I left with a Danemann at less than half the price I had in mind. The thought I am left with is a recurring theme in the testimonials of honesty and that is what you get, no sales patter or pressure to buy, but sound advice. | Dear Paul and Lynne How pleased we are at having made the detour to your workshop in the hope of finding a suitable used piano for our son. He soon made himself at home trying out the previously loved but seriously neglected and soon to be restored pianos and chose a Rogers for its impeccable history and sound. Eight weeks later and early in the morning it arrived on our doorstep. What a difference. Our first thoughts were there had been a mistake but were assured it was the one chosen. It looked and sounded amazing. To bring this piano back to its original glory in such a short time must have taken so much skill and effort particularly as the work is undertaken not by a large company but a small dedicated team headed by Paul. Paul at Paregal produces renovated pianos that look better than new!! If you visit his workplace in Wakefield (which we did, having driven up from London), do not be put off by the surroundings, they hide a remarkable change that Paul makes to his pianos before they leave his store. If you want a piano, large - or small - don't bother going to a shop for a new piano, go to Paul for what you will believe is a bargain. |
